Can Someone teach me how to put youtube videos on here?
by Voices ini keep wanting to share youtube videos that are really good, but i can't seem to figure out how to do it...i tried pasting the link...i tried 'embedding' ...and it doesn't work...what am i doing wrong?

Do you love or hate to cook?
by VampireDCLXV injust a quick poll if you will.... i personally hate to cook.
it's not that i'm particularly bad at it, i just don't have a whole lot of patience or motivation to do it.
i suppose it has something to do with my having to live alone?

I agree Mrs Jones ... When the kids come to visit I love to cook for them ,but with just the two of us home sometimes it just is a chore . I depends on my mood too. Now that we have had some cooler weather I am much more in the mood to cook .
This weekend one of the boys is here and I have cooked some delicious Banana bread and we made french toast out of it this morning . Right now I am making shepard pie and Beer Batter bread with cheese and Italian seasoning .

Nah I don't believe it ! He didn't cut you off ...he was just so filled with your positive spirit he has been sowing his youthful oats .....maybe ?
He'll call when he needs another booster shot of Grace .
So tell me does he have a southern drawl ? Intrigues me because i was born in South Carolina and lived in North Carolina until my parents moved North . I still love the Carolina accent .
I've heard your voice before too Grace ! On a interview you did I think with six screens. You also have a lovely voice .
Sadly my southern vocabulary has been drowned out by annoying midwest speech .

by Ri ini have been watching glenn beck for over a year and i like him...he says what most americans are thinking and feeling.
there is no doubt he has a love for our creator.
btw i was a jw for 10 years and left that religion for good...i have no desire to belong to another religion but i do consider myself a christian.. just wanted to know what your opinion is of glenn beck.

I do not label myself liberal or otherwise . I just know who I trust and who I don't . I do not trust Glen Beck ....he is a shyster . Same goes with Sarah Palin .

Awkward position with family in relation to the truth
by slimboyfat inmy mum (who's never been a witness) just phoned me up.
she says my aunt (my mum's sister) wants to get back into the truth.
my aunt stopped going to meetings a couple of years ago.

Branch offices in Europe are closing
by Samuel Thorsen ini have from a safe source that the bethel branch office in austria, ireland, italy and switzerland are closing down in the near future.
most of the business will be taken care of from the german bethel.
nothing is said thru official channels yet, but there is no reason to doubt my source.. can anyone tell more about this topic?.

Two KH's in my area have disbanded and KH 's sold in the last two yrs . Those are just the ones I personally know about . Silvis ,IL and Princeton ,IL.

This was encouraging to hear . i would love to know what advice you are giving .....
I just had a conversation with a couple the other night . The husband has never been a witness and the wife was recently reinstated . I still have open communication with her ,but want to be careful what I say so as not to push her away . She came back in to gain back family relationships ,but she has had her eyes opened ,and I don't think she is a complete believer anymore . Just wish I could be of encouragement to her . It has to be hard to keep your foot in the door enough to please family ,and yet be true to your own self .

How do people that are reinstated overcome the resentment
by troubled mind inwhat if you were df'd for along time ,say over 10 yrs ,and you were totally shunned by family that whole time .
do you ever come to terms with the resentment of how family treated you ?
has anyone here successfully got back in just to gain family ,and then faded or never got active after that ?
